What you need to get in
- No prior experience or educational prerequisites required
- Minimum 19 years of age to serve or handle liquor in British Columbia
- Computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access for online learning
- Open admission with no prerequisites
- Computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access for Open School BC online course

How to apply
- Register for FOODSAFE Level 1 online through Open School BC ($69 CAD) or through an in-person seminar
- Register for Serving It Right online through Responsible Service BC ($40 CAD + tax, includes 3 exam attempts)
- Immediate self-paced access upon registration with flexible exam completion
