What the job is like

Work takes place in aircraft hangars, outdoor airport flight lines, and engine overhaul shops, as well as shift work including night shifts, weekends, and on-call line maintenance.
Be mindful of exposure to jet fuel, hydraulic fluids, turbine engine noise, and propeller safety zones and follow all required safety procedures.
Appointed by an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) to certify commercial aircraft maintenance releases.
Direct corporate regulatory compliance audits, safety management systems (SMS), and Transport Canada liaison.
