Work takes place in dimly lit hospital diagnostic imaging suites optimized for high-contrast ultrasound monitor viewing, as well as outpatient community radiology clinics and private obstetrical imaging centres.
Be mindful of ergonomic strain risks requiring structured rest breaks, adjustable exam tables, and neutral posture techniques and follow all required safety procedures.
Specialize in complex transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography evaluating heart valve hemodynamics.
Focus on high-resolution carotid, peripheral arterial, and venous Doppler blood flow evaluations.
