English 10 (some colleges ask for English 12), First Aid CPR-C, clean criminal record check, and immunizations.
HCA Certificate Program (VCC / Douglas / Camosun)
27–28 week certificate combining health science theory, dementia care, and simulation labs.
BC Care Aide Registry Registration
Official registration listing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
Certified Health Care Assistant / Care Aide
Immediate employment in residential care, acute hospitals, and community home support.
