Confirm trade fitness, high-angle comfort, and basic mathematics comprehension
SkilledTradesBC Apprentice Registration
Sign apprenticeship agreement with an approved steel erection sponsor
Levels 1 & 2 Technical Training (Local 97)
Complete Level 1 and Level 2 school blocks at Ironworkers Local 97 Training Centre
Level 3 Training & 4,500 Workplace Hours
Finish Level 3 technical training and fulfill all 4,500 workplace hours
Interprovincial Red Seal Ironworker Exam
Score 70% or higher on the Red Seal Ironworker (Generalist) examination
