What a day looks like

Work takes place in acute care hospitals, neuro-trauma wards, and specialized inpatient rehabilitation centres (gf strong rehab centre), as well as school districts supporting neurodiverse children and students with physical adaptations.

Watch out for

Be mindful of musculoskeletal strain risks when transferring patients without assistive ceiling lifts or slide boards and follow all required safety procedures.

Where it can lead

Establish an independent practice delivering specialized ergonomic, pediatric, or medicolegal assessments.

Design custom power mobility systems, advanced electronic cognitive aids, and smart home environmental adaptations.
