What the job is like

Work takes place in community retail pharmacy chains (shoppers drug mart, rexall, london drugs) and independent neighbourhood drugstores, as well as hospital outpatient dispensaries and health authority medical centres.
Be mindful of potential exposure to trace chemical powders during tablet counting and basic ointment compounding and follow all required safety procedures.
Complete a CCAPP-accredited diploma program to achieve statutory licensing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
Supervise pharmacy assistant teams, coordinate inventory logistics, and manage supplier accounts.
