What the job is like

Work takes place in small animal companion veterinary hospitals, multi-doctor emergency referral centers, and intensive care units, as well as large animal, equine, and mobile agricultural veterinary practices in rural and interior bc communities.
Be mindful of animal bites, scratches, and kick injuries requiring certified fear free handling and chemical restraint protocols and follow all required safety procedures.
Earn North American Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) certification in Emergency & Critical Care, Anesthesia, or Dentistry.
Lead operations, staffing, client communications, and inventory management for multi-doctor veterinary facilities.
