What the job is like

Work takes place in high-rise construction sites, industrial refinery plants, bridge construction, and commercial shipping docks, as well as elevated crane operator cabs with precision glass views, joystick servos, and computerized load moment indicators.
Be mindful of high-risk hazards involving suspended loads, power line contact, outrigger ground subsidence, and adverse wind conditions and follow all required safety procedures.
Plan, engineer, and authorize complex multi-crane and heavy-haul industrial lifts.
Conduct annual structural, mechanical, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on commercial cranes.
