The route at a glance
Apprentice Entry & Employer Sponsorship
Obtain employment with an approved glazing contractor or enroll in foundation training
Register with SkilledTradesBC
Register tripartite agreement with SkilledTradesBC and employer sponsor
Levels 1 & 2 Technical Training (BCIT / FTIBC)
Complete two 6-week technical training blocks at BCIT or FTIBC
Level 3 Training & 5,040 Workplace Hours
Complete Level 3 technical schooling and fulfill all 5,040 workplace hours
Interprovincial Red Seal Glazier Exam
Score 70% or higher on the Red Seal Glazier Interprovincial examination
