- Registered apprentice with SkilledTradesBC or Millwright Foundation certificate
- Active employer sponsorship
- SkilledTradesBC apprentice registration number
- Active apprentice sponsorship

How to apply
- Apply online directly to BCIT or College of New Caledonia (CNC)
- Programs offer intakes in September, January, and March depending on the campus
- Submit high school transcripts and complete mechanical reasoning assessment if requested

- Shaft alignment, laser optics, bearings, couplings, and mechanical power transmission
- Fluid power systems: hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and pneumatic circuits
- Rigging, hoisting, oxy-fuel cutting, and industrial maintenance safety
