- Mandatory departmental questionnaire detailing health care understanding

- Ultrasound physics, instrumentation, transducer technology, and Doppler hemodynamics
- Abdominal, superficial structures, obstetrical, and gynecological diagnostic ultrasound
- Cardiac sonography (echocardiography) or vascular evaluation techniques
- Over 1,200 hours of direct hands-on clinical scanning rotations across acute care BC hospitals
