- Anatomy & Physiology 12. Requirement varies by school (University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, University of the Fraser Valley, and 3 others). Strictest requirement: C.
- Grade 12 graduation with minimum academic standing

- Post-secondary university-transferable prerequisite coursework with competitive grades
- Clear Criminal Record Check through the BC Criminal Records Review Program
- Bachelorβs degree or minimum 48 non-nursing university credits completed
- Minimum 70% (2.80 GPA) on most recent 30 university credits
- Supplemental application and Casper assessment test

- Submit application through EducationPlannerBC or directly to institution admissions (BCIT, Douglas, Camosun)
- Apply between October and January for fall intakes
- Provide official high school and college transcripts
- Complete Casper test if required by specific institution (e.g. Camosun / UVic; not required by BCIT or Douglas)

- Coursework in pathophysiology, pharmacology, pediatrics, adult health, and public health nursing
- Over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical placements in regional hospitals and clinics
- High-fidelity simulation lab practice for emergency situations and clinical procedures
