⏱ 1 school year- General BC secondary school curriculum and coursework at the Grade 11 level.

- Biology 12
- Pre-Calculus 12

What you need to get in
- At least 60 transferable university credits with an average of 70 percent (2.80) on the last 60, all prerequisites finished by 30 April before you start. A finished degree is not required.
- English (6 credits), calculus (2 terms), cell biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry (2 terms with lab), microbiology, statistics, humanities or social sciences (6 credits)
- Pre-recorded Interview Questions and Scenarios (PIQS): you record answers online; UBC bases admission mainly on this and on your applicant group.
- Criminal record check through the BC Ministry of Public Safety

- Apply by 1 December 2026 for the September 2027 intake
- Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- Pre-recorded Interview Questions and Scenarios (PIQS): you record answers online; UBC bases admission mainly on this and on your applicant group.

Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
⏱ 4 years after 60 university credits- 4-year professional doctorate program
- Years 1 to 3: Medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, therapeutics, pharmacy law, and sterile compounding
- Simulated pharmacy practice labs covering medication dispensing and patient consultations
- Year 4: 40 weeks of full-time Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in community and hospital pharmacies
