  • General BC secondary school curriculum and coursework at the Grade 11 level.

  • Prerequisite courses: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Physics, Psychology, and Statistics

What you need to get in

  • A four-year bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least a B (72%) in each prerequisite course
  • A B+ (76%) average in your senior-level courses
  • 70 hours of volunteer or paid work with people with disabilities, at no more than two places
  • CASPer test

How to apply

  • Apply online through the UBC Graduate Admissions portal by mid-January
  • Submit official university transcripts and course descriptions for prerequisites
  • Submit clinical volunteer verification forms and academic reference letters
  • Participate in the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) evaluation if shortlisted (spring)

  • Musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory physical therapy assessment and rehabilitation
  • Manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, electrophysical agents, and clinical reasoning
  • 5 full-time clinical internships (over 1,000 supervised hours) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and clinics
