Grade 11
⏱ 1 school year- General BC secondary school curriculum and coursework at the Grade 11 level.
Step 2 of 8
Grade 12
⏱ 1 school year- General high school graduation (BC Dogwood Diploma) or equivalent mature student status.

What you need to get in
- A four-year bachelor's degree in any field
- At least a B (72%) in each prerequisite course
- A B+ (76%) average in your senior-level courses
- Prerequisite courses: Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Physics, Psychology, and Statistics
- 70 hours of volunteer or paid work with people with disabilities, at no more than two places
- Candidate admissions assessment

How to apply
- Apply online through the UBC Graduate Admissions portal by mid-January
- Submit official university transcripts and course descriptions for prerequisites
- Submit clinical volunteer verification forms and academic reference letters
- Participate in the admissions interview evaluation if shortlisted (spring)

Physiotherapy degree (MPT)
⏱ 26 months Full-Time- 26 months of continuous full-time professional graduate study
- Musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory physical therapy assessment and rehabilitation
- Manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, electrophysical agents, and clinical reasoning
- 5 full-time clinical internships (over 1,000 supervised hours) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and clinics

- Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) written component (administered by CAPR)
