Grade 11
⏱ 1 School Year- General BC secondary school curriculum and coursework at the Grade 11 level.

Step 2 of 8
Grade 12
⏱ 1 School Year- Anatomy & Physiology 12. Requirement varies by school (Vancouver Community College, Vancouver Island University, College of New Caledonia, and 2 others). Strictest requirement: standard completion.
- High school graduation or mature student status

Step 3 of 8
What you need to get in
- 30 credits of first-year university courses with an overall GPA of 3.0
- CASPer test (selection is based on prerequisite GPA and CASPer score)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
- Minimum 2.70 (B-) prerequisite GPA
- Valid CPR-C / BLS and Criminal Record Check

How to apply
- Submit application to an accredited college (Vancouver Community College or Camosun College)
- Applications open in October for the following September intake
- Submit official secondary and post-secondary transcripts by the January deadline
- Complete CASPer situational judgment test

Dental hygiene diploma
⏱ 2 Years- 2-year intensive full-time program with continuous clinical rotations
- Periodontology, oral pathology, radiography, and local anesthesia administration
- Direct patient clinical care in campus public dental hygiene clinics
- Community dental health education placements in schools and community centers
