- Good vision and hearing (Ministry of Transportation Traffic Management Manual for Work on Roadways)
- Minimum 16 years of age with government-issued photo identification
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots with ankle protection for Day 2 practical field work
- Minimum 16 years of age

How to apply
- Register through an authorized British Columbia Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA) course provider
- Choose an upcoming 2-day session offered year-round
- Submit registration form and tuition fee of $350 to $420 CAD

Flagger course (TCP)
β± 2 Days (16 Hours)- 16 total hours over 2 days (day one classroom theory, day two live road field practice)
- BC Motor Vehicle Act traffic regulations and WorkSafeBC standards
- Standard hand signaling, visual communication, and two-way radio protocols
- Safe placement of traffic cones, directional signage, and flashing arrow boards
